There are a couple of ways you can help ensure you get the best footage possible.

Clean the camera domes seasonally

Your Tsunami is going to deployed in a variety of elements that can stick to the camera dome such as: pollen, dust, mud, tree sap, and etc. In order to ensure consistent clarity we recommend wiping the camera domes down with glass cleaner and a microfiber towel at the change of the seasons.

Note: Depending on your region, you may experience high quantities of pollen in the air during Spring and Fall. Pollen will reflect the infrared light at night and greatly decrease the Tsunami's effective range. During this period we recommend cleaning weekly to ensure the best quality.

Inspect and tighten the mounting straps

Depending on the type of pole you have, the humidity in your region, and rapid temperature shifts, you may start to notice that the straps on your Tsunami are starting to slant downward or the cameras seem to be "sagging" when you view your footage. This is easily remedied by tightening the straps with a 5/16th socket on an impact driver.

If you break a strap by overtightening it, no worries! we'll send you a replacement or help you find some new ones locally.

Note: If you have recently installed your wooden poles and the wood is still "green" it may shrink rapidly for the first few months. Please check your straps frequently to ensure that your Tsunami stays mounted properly.

Look out for displaced wires

Watch out for wires that look like they may have been unplugged from your Tsunami. If this occurs please submit a support ticket HERE, email support@ocean10security.com, or call (828) 484-1481 and choose option 1
